Ibought my 2008 Audi A3 1.4tfsi Sport a few months ago and it came with the RNS-e headunit and Bose sound system. Tried using the AUX input near the handbrake but it doesn't work. The RNS-e says that the External Audio Source is active at all times (even when nothing is inserted into the AUX input) and when you select it is just a Yes I figured it out, you need a language cd to load the speech to mmi. If you don’t want to spend money on it just search online for your mmi language cd file and burn it to a disc. 07q7. Are there hidden locations? I'm having an issue with the MMI, no start up or lights on the controls. Someone suggested the fuse was blown. I've checked every fuse, in the left and right dash, under the hood and in the right rear. The manual says the fuse for the Mmi should be on the passenger dash, but the manual seems to be incorrect.
Forat least a couple of months, MMI display would occasionally not power on upon vehicle start. The problem would always resolve itself, usually by simply turning the vehicle back off and on. For the last ~4 weeks, however, MMI display has been completely dead. Nothing ever comes on the display anymore, not even a splash screen. Symptoms r4ARi.
